Ellioti Conservation Initiative is a Cameroonian-led organization committed to safeguarding endangered species and the rainforests they depend on. From the western highlands to the lowland forests, our work spans research, protection, education and community empowerment.

We take our name from the Nigeria-Cameroon chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes ellioti), the rarest of all chimpanzee subspecies — a living symbol of what stands to be lost, and of what can still be saved.

Our team unites biologists, rangers, educators and community leaders around a single conviction: conservation only endures when it is shared.
